Over the years I have studied Ashtanga, Agama, Restorative, Yin and Sivananda Yoga both within Canada and abroad. I have additional training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Mindfulness Based Meditation for Children and Adults which lends to seamlessly developing insightful practices of self discovery.
As a Registered Social Worker and 550 hour certified yoga instructor of 25 years, I offer thoughtfully curated yoga classes, inviting you to become more aware in body and mind. By creating a safe and nurturing environment you are encouraged to journey inwards to discover how you may be holding yourself back and in doing so, free yourself to become who you are meant to BE. Weaving together a tapestry of breathwork, postures, meditations and poetry you are guided to discover your Self as you become stronger, and more flexible in both body and mind.
